Both hand-picked and harvested by machine, grapes are sorted and de-stalked before being gently crushed in order to extract the best tannins. Then juice undergoes a traditional fermentation, left on lees for up to 28 days, with regular pumping in small stainless steel vats, under temperature control process. Then MENUTS goes for maturation in oak barrels for a period of minimum 12 months.
Maison Rivière, owner and wine merchants since 1875 at Saint Emilion produced his Bordeaux MENUTS motivated by a sole goal: Coming up to highest expectations of wine connoisseurs. The expression of an exceptional soil gives to its grapes all the delicate aromas of ripe fruits emphasized by a light toasty oak taste. Complex structure and silky texture bring MENUTS to the top quality of Bordeaux as the ideal accompaniment of your meals.
This wine goes marvellously well with meat, poultry, game and cheese.
